Pentecost Planning

Sunday, May 19

Habla Español? Sprechen sie Deutsch? Parlez-vous français?

We are hoping to have the Pentecost Gospel read in different languages so if anyone out there is proficient in a foreign language (or can just confidently order off a menu) please let Father Benjamin or Karen Hardison know. If you have a Bible translation you like great - if not we'll find one for you.

As always - wear red!

And yes, the "big cat toys" will be back!

Raise to Renew! The time has come!

With your support we will soon undertake the repair and renewal of the church interior. The obvious need is to plaster and paint, but erecting the scaffolding to do so presents exceptional opportunities to upgrade wiring, lighting, and sound. In addition to we hope to renovate and repair the entry way and refinish the floors and replace the carpet.

· We will not begin any phase of the renovation until we have the funding for that phase in hand. We will not borrow, nor will we take money from the investment account, as the return helps fund church operations.

· We ask that you read closely the campaign booklet, pray for the church we love, and commit to the “Raise to Renew.”

The Campaign Team will host a Q&A session in the Parish Hall this Sunday April 28 to answer questions.

Pastoral Care End of Life Forum

Sunday, May 5

Noon in the Lounge

While there are many things in our lives we cannot control there are things we can do now to help insure that when our dying days come we are cared for and treated in ways that respect our dignity and our wishes. Some are practical like wills, trusts, and funeral planning. Others are less straight forward and address what care we want and what care we will refuse. Pastoral Care would like to help you and your family begin this discussion.
