St. Mark’s Inreach Team Meals and Transportation Purpose: To provide meals and or transportation to parishioners in times of need as requested by Clergy or others Responsibilities: · To deliver a meal that may be prepared by the deliverer or may be in the church freezer. · To drive a church member to an appointment or to provide a ride to church for a member who cannot drive. Qualifications: · Ability to shop and cook to provide a meal or, in some cases, a prepared casserole. These are usually delivered to the sick and to families during times of bereavement. · Willingness to drive and wait for a fellow parishioner who has an appointment or who needs a ride to church. Time Requirements: Varies from assignment to assignment. |
