St. Mark’s Inreach Team Altar Flower Delivery Purpose: Each Sunday the altar flowers are delivered to two St. Mark’s members who are “at home”, ill, recovering, or just needing a “cheer up” from St. Mark’s. As a volunteer, your turn comes up about 3-4 times a year, and the delivery schedule is set well in advance so there’s ample time to trade Sundays when necessary. Altar Flower Delivery is coordinated by Gail McEnroe, 364-1988. Responsibilities: To deliver altar flowers to two parishioners once every 8 weeks. The altar guild will place the flowers in containers and the clergy designate the recipients. Qualifications: · A desire to connect to connect people who are in need of cheering up. · Availability every 8 weeks for one to one and ˝ hours on Sunday. · Be able to drive Time Requirements: · One to one and ˝ hours every 8th Sunday after the 10:30 service. · A one year commitment is requested. · The 4th Sunday of each month. Training: As arranged with the clergy. |
