St. Mark’s Adult Education Team

PURPOSE AND GOALS

The Adult Education Ministry provides educational experiences that:

· Teach the Parish and the community we serve about Christianity and the Episcopal Church.

· Enrich our lives.

· Support our spiritual growth to enable us to live a more Christ-like life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To further this purpose, the Adult Education Ministry shall engage in the following activities:

1. Develop and implement Sunday morning Adult Education classes.

2. Sponsor Bible study.

3. Coordinate book study groups.

4. Develop, coordinate, and/or implement retreats, workshops, and other educational forums, such as Advent and Lenten series and the sermon discussion forum
