St. Mark’s Worship Team

PURPOSE AND GOALS

The Worship Ministry works closely with the rector to help with the planning and actively assisting with aspects of weekly celebration of the Eucharist and special services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To further this purpose, the Worship Ministry shall engage in the following activities:

1. Assist in preparation of the altar for regular services or special events.

2. Collect offerings and distribute bulletins.

3. Assist visitors during worship.

4. Serve as acolytes, crucifers, lectors, and intercessors during the services.

5. Serve as chalicers during communion.

6. Deliver altar flowers after service to home communicants or parishioners unable to attend service due to illness or other circumstances.
